Verona is an ancient town, famous all over the world to have been the set chosen by William Shakespeare for his play "Romeo and Juliet". It is a lovely town, rich of art and culture... You can admire the ancient amphitheatre that also houses Opera shows in summer, visit the House of Juliet, have a nice walk around the beautiful squares and wonderful view over the river.
From Verona you could easily reach the lovely Garda lake where you can enjoy a lot of water activities, visit nice villages and also going up a mountain by cable!
