Terms And Conditions

Terms and Conditions
 Upon release of payment and guarantee of booking, all visitors are submitting compliance to the following Terms & Conditions Policy. 

General Conditions
Passeggiate Italiane is a fully licensed Tour Operator based in Italy and is covered by insurance policy. Passeggiate Italiane cannot be held liable: for personal injury or of death; loss or damage of luggage by the client or third parties. The company is not responsible for any loss, delay, injury, inconvenience or other events which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence by Passeggiate Italiane, such as wars, floods, severe weather, acts of god, etc.

Refunds on unused services
Our Tours are sold as a whole packages and therefore we cannot refund (in whole or in part) a client for services, or parts thereof that have not been utilized by the client.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you previously arrange for and acquire private travel insurance to cover an unforseable cancellation due to any circumstances beyond your control. We also recommend medical and personal insurance to cover medical expenses, loss of baggage or personal belongings.

Currency and payment methods
Our tours are sold in Euro (€) currency – you will be billed and/or your credit card will be charged solely in Euro currency.

We only accept bank transfer and paypal payments (If you chose bank transfer payment, please note that all expenses must be at your charge; if you chose Paypal, please note that an extra fee of 5% will be added at the total cost of the activity).

All contracts between the end user (hereon referenced as the Client) and Passeggiate Italiane (hereon referenced as the Company) is governed by current Italian law and in case of any dispute that we cannot settle amicably, exclusive jurisdiction is conferred by the Italian judicial system and Italian law.


Cancellation fees
Cancellations must be requested in writing and by email to and date and time of cancellation is calculated based on Italian standard time (CEST).

If you cancel a reservation prior to: each instance of issue or confermation, of a single or multiple tour voucher(s), and charging of your credit card; we apply the following cancellation fees as a percentage retained from the total cost of each tour or service reserved by the Client -

Group and Private tours

More than 30 days from the date of the service: no charge

From 30 to 8 days : 50 %

Less than 8 working days and no show : 100%

If you the Client cancel a tour or service after the voucher and invoice by the Company has been issued, when less than 8 days from the day of the tour remain, there is a 20,00 euro administrative fee that will not be refunded for each canceled tour you had previously booked.

Museum Tickets
For all tours which include payed entrance(s) or ticket(s) to: museums; art galleries; and/or churchs – the following will apply. In case of cancellation of the tour, we will refund the cost of the tour as per our cancellation policy, but the aforementioned tickets of entrance are non refundable if cancellation is made 30 days or less from the tour date.

There is no refund (whole or in part) on reservation fees and/or ticket(s) of monument(s) that on the rare occasion(s) that the location to be visited result as closed or innaccesible due to ceremonies, unscheduled works on site, strikes and any kind of event that is out of our knowledge and/or control. Within all possibility we do our best to avoid operating any tour of such sites rendered inascesible. Information of any interruptions of normal operating practices from the offices responsible for relative sites to be visited, are usually obtainable in a timely manner, such as to permit the Company (as licensed tour operators) to rearrange and inform all Clients interested. If this is not possible, the Company will operate the tour substituting (where possible) other comparable site(s) to compensate for the original site(s) being closed or not accessible. No refund is given on unused tickets due to unannounced events that are out of our control.


Passeggiate Italiane is not liable and does not authorize any refunds for any events, tour or services rendered impossible to operate, or where cancellations are caused as a result of: governments, war hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil strife or unrest, labor disputes, strikes, industrial disputes, fire, theft, epidemics, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, natural or nuclear disasters, technical or administrative problems with transport, closure of airports, breakdown of machinery, adverse weather conditions, water shortages or any other occurrences beyond our immediate control and which, despite all due care being taken on behalf of the Company, could not have been avoided.

In case of force majeure, Passeggiate Italiane reserves the right (but makes no guarantees – implied or otherwise) to offer substitute services. If no substitute is available, or the substitutes offered are not accepted by the Client(s), Passeggiate Italiane will not be held liable for, nor will it authorize, a refund.

Due to onforeseable situations which on rare occasion occur, Passeggiate Italiane strongly recommends the previous purchase of personal travel insurance.


Changes to your confirmed services must be requested in writing via e-mail

All changes requested and sent by email on behalf of the Client, before receiving vouchers – are free of charge. After having transacted a voucher, there is a 10 euro change fee for any change to your confirmed services and you might incur in additional fees as per the conditions aforementioned.

Delays on Group Tours

Upon confirmation of the service requested, the Client will receive a voucher with pick up location and time. You will be asked to arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the service or tour. We cannot guarantee the Client will find our assistant or guide, if there is a failure to arrive at the meeting point within this time. On these occasions Passeggiate Italiane is not responsible for any claim of refund, either whole or partial.

Delays on Private Tours / Private shore excursions / Private Transfer Tours

Upon confirmation of the service the Client will receive a voucher or an email with pick up location and time. If you (the Client) anticipate you might be delayed for any reason, it is your responsibility to contact the telephone number listed in your voucher/email – Passeggiate Italiane cannot guarantee that a rescheduling of the pick up time and/or day will be possible without incurring an additional charge.


Reservation of accommodation can be cancelled up to 30 days prior the arrival date without any fee.

For cancellation made from 30 to 8 days before the arrival day, one night amount will be charged.

For cancellation made less than 7 days before the arrival day and no show, 100% of total amount will be charged.


Passeggiate Italiane semi-private and private Vacation Packages

Passeggiate Italiane vacation packages are both escorted and not escorted group tours. Each package is a combination of products and services designed by Passeggiate Italiane. 

Payment conditions

The 30% of the total amount is required to be paid at the moment of reservation (if the activity will start in more than 45 days). 50% of the total amount is required at the moment of reservation (if the activity will start between 44 and 30 days). The total amount is required at the moment of reservation if the activity will start in less than 30 days.

The 100% of the total cost is required to be paid 30 days before the starting of activities. 

Cancellation Fees

More than 45 days: 30% of the total cost

From 45 Days to 30 days: 50 % of the total cost

From 29 days and no shows: 100% of the total cost 

Train Tickets

Tickets purchases for any train travel as part of a service by Passeggiate Italiane are not refundable under any condition.

Private Transfers as part of your vacation package

If you anticipate or know that your travel arrangements will be delayed for any reason, it is your responsibility to contact the telephone number listed in your voucheror email (either the agency number or the emergency phone number). In such an event, failing to contact Passeggiate Italiane in a timely manner, might incur the Client a recharge for your private transfer service.

Changes made after the package has been confirmed incur a fee of 30,00 euro for each change.
