Bassano is located on the foot of Monte Grappa in the Northeast of Italy. It’s just an hour by train from Venice and 75 km from Marco Polo airport.
Bassano is well - known for its famous Ponte degli Alpini (an ancient covered wooden bridge), the frescoed buildings and arcades, the Monte Grappa, and the famous grappa distilleries. Among the cultural attractions you can found the Castle Ezzelini, three important museums, the restored civic tower. The three squares in the city center are home to various events throughout the year such as Opera Estate and Veneto Jazz, a series of outdoor concerts, movies and games throughout the summer.
