Perugia is located in central Italy, in the green region of Umbria. It is rich in history and art, being an important center during the Etruscan age and later, in the High Renaissance. It is also very well known for its jazz festival "Umbria Jazz", usually held in July, and for the famous chocolate factory "Perugina".
