About one hour far from Venice you can find a nice village very famous for its thermal water and mud that derive from the maturation process of soil or clay: Abano Thermae.
The city center has a large pedestrian precinct, filled with old and modern buildings, large hotels with well-tended gardens, shops, bars, and restaurants, and the historical and monumental sights also include one of the most important testimonials of the Aponus spa, Montirone Hill.
PROGRAMME:
First Day: Arrival at Abano by Private Car or Minivan
Enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and the extraordinary therapeutic value of thermal water
Buffet lunch at the hotel
In the afternoon try one of the restorative and well-being treatments at the hotel
The swimming pool is open until 10 pm, just relax...
Second Day: Praglia Abbey - Wine Tasting
Visit Praglia Abbey, in the Regional park of Euganean Hills. You will see the ancient Abbey, full of history, art, and faith where the Benedictine monks still live. The Abbey is also internationally known for its contribution to the restoration of ancient books and manuscripts.
Lunch at a typical restaurant on the Euganean Hills (beautiful panoramic views to be enjoyed during the trip)
In the afternoon visit a wine factory and wine tasting
Return to the hotel and dinner.
Relax at the swimming pool.
Third-Day: Padua
Morning visit to the beautiful town of Padua with the wonderful Scrovegni Chapel, painted by Master Giotto. You will also visit the Caffé Pedrocchi and the well-preserved city center. Your tour will finish at one of the largest squares in Europe, the "Prato della Valle". Next to it, you can also visit Saint Anthony's Basilica and the UNESCO World Heritage Site: the beautiful Botanical Garden
